Stayed in Sept for 3 days .Great location ,great rooms ,great staff, best hotel we stayed in during 3 week stay in the States and Canada. What more can you say. Ladies and gent on the front desk were really helpful , room was great for the price (we were at the front and noise from St was not a problem). Good breakfast in the morning included. Easy walk to the space needle and other things there ,easy walk to the water front and centre of town. Would stay again ,Seattle was great and really nice city .

First I have to give a big hand to the staff we dealt with at Best Western. My initial contact was with Marsha (Marcia?) sorry unsure of spelling. She helped us with initial reservations and setting up car service from the airport to the hotel to the pier and back to the airport. She was very pleasant and easy to deal with. She was very helpful with suggestions and cost saving information. When we called to confirm prior to our trip we spoke with Justin, he was unable to confirm our car service and did not have all of our info. He said he would call us back. He called Marsha at home and they were able to figure out the details. He did call us back and had the correct info and gave us a break on the transfer to the ship because of the confusion. When we checked in, Elisabeth was at the desk. We were a little early due to our flight schedule. She took our bags for us and secured them in the office and made a great recommendation for lunch, when we came back our room was ready. Great job to all of the staff at this location!
The hotel is in a great location for walking to the Space Needle were you can easily catch the monorail to get downtown and to pike's place, etc.... The rooms are nice. The AC is a little noisy, but not too bad. The beds are comfortable. Everything is clean and neat. The breakfast was really good and had a nice variety. Overall a good hotal at a decent price in a good location. Would definitely recommend

I would like the say, we enjoyed our stay and being close to the space needle as we went to the Chihluy exhibit and we were allowed to leave our luggage there and pick up by 4:00 p. m. The people who worked there were so nice and helped us with anything we needed.
We called direct and explained our stay and we received a very good rate.

Location is pretty good and receptionist was helpful, but that's all the positive that I can say of this hotel. I had a room in a first floor where the noise from the street was unusually loud. Due to poor windows, the noise from the street felt like the windows had been open whole night. Fridge kept horrible noise, which I solved by inplugging it. Room itself was clean but everything was badly worn down. Final disappointment was the breakfast where only healthy options were fresh apples and bananas. Otherwise breakfast was full of sugar and white flour without nutritiens. I booked 2 nights in this hotel, but changed to to other one after one night. I paid 190$ for room in Loyal Inn and changed to the very nice hotel closer to harbour by adding only 40$ to the price.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Seattle with my wife. Location was convenient and walking distance (less than 1 mile) to Pike's Market. We don't mind walking so this location was fine for us. Monorail is within 2 blocks of hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean but outdated and very basic. Internet connection was very slow and frontend was understaffed, causing long waits in the lobby. But for the price this place was good. If I visit Seattle again I probably would stay at a nicer hotel that is closer to the market, expecting to pay twice as much though.

I stumbled upon this hotel when googling for cheap places to stay in Seattle, as prices here are ridiculously high compared to larger cities like Chicago, where the Hilton can be had for $150 on a weekend. Rack rates when I booked were $170, not too far off from nicer places down in the Pike Place area. These rack rates are ex-tax, not including state hotel taxes etc which push the total close to/over $200 a night, which is pretty expensive for the experience offered by this establishment.

Upon check in, I was assigned a ground floor room, and dragged my luggage inside to find that there was a homeless man outside playing with his man-bits, while trying to peer in the glass of the room. Gross!

Reception quickly assigned me a room on a higher floor. Tip for others: Don't ask for a room facing the street, the windows aren't double glazed and road/traffic/people noise is high. There's not much to see anyway, other than cars driving past.

The room was comfortable, but the overall experience was a let down. Overall it seemed relatively clean, but the interior is extremely dated, and screams of an upgrade. The wood furniture was full of knocks and dings, showing its age.

The bed was comfortable, however there was blood on the comforter, so I asked for housekeeping to replace it. This was done promptly.

The air conditioning was in what seemed to be a makeshift housing in the wall, an after though rather than being properly built in to the building. The housing wasn't sealed properly and had gaps around it allowing a draught through, and made the airconditioner rattle and shake during operation.

A coffee machine was supplied, with a couple of packets of generic drip coffee and powdered whitener. I was surprised this was included, but didn't like the powder whitening agent, and much rather half & half, or sealed milk portions in the fridge. A small microwave, and bar fridge were also in the TV unit.

Noise from rooms adjacent, and above was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. All day I could hear people in the room above me and above and one over from me stomping around, and at night I could hear the person above nailing something/someone pretty strenuously. Guests across the hall were audible with both theirs and my door closed. When the guest next to my room closed his front door, the windows in my room shook, showing the buildings age.

The toilet was clean, and properly flushing, however being supplied a nearly used up toilet paper roll on the holder was... Interesting? One doesn't want to be reminded that literally thousands of other guests have sat on the same throne when going about business. +1 for being eco-friendly (Or penny pinching?). The hand towels, were not clean, and all had stains on them. These were also replaced by housekeeping at my request.

The shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in the shower is a novel idea, but let down by execution. I'm not sure if all units were like mine, however it required some force to dispense a small amount, and repeated presses to get enough the size of 2-3 quarters to be able to wash with. Body wash is also almost useless without a loofah or washcloth, compared to a bar of soap which lathers as friction is used on it against the body. The supplied bodywash without a loofah of washcloth simply runs between your fingers and is hard to build up a lather with. Otherwise, the shower was clean and appeared to be wiped down well.

I'd have to say the best thing about this hotel was the breakfast. It was plentiful, and an 'all you can eat' affair. I wasn't terribly hungry, but there was a great selection of hot and cold foods, along with waffles, toast, muffins and bagels available. The same assortment and brands I've seen used by the Hampton Inn, which is well known for their great breakfasts. The dining area was also very clean, if a little cramped and lacking ventilation - It was quite humid in there.

The included Wifi was also pathetically slow. I wouldn't recommend this for business travellers, as using a VPN was impossible due to the speeds.

Location was good, 5-10 mins walk to the space needle, however close by restaurants (apart from the asian place across the street) were nowhere to be found. Walgreens up the road has plenty of food you can make up in your room to suffice. A taxi to the stadium on the south side of town was under $10.

All in all, a pricey and disappointing stay, but given some attention and lots of TLC by the management/owners, this could be polished into a gem given time and a lot of money.

Rooms are ok. Good size. Nice bedding. The location of this hotel makes it a perfect base voor discovering the city. Service at the frontdesk was good. Swift checkin, they had a room availbale even though we arrived early. The breakfast however was a big dissapointment. Dirty tables, wafles tasted strange, no regular coffee (empty) and no one who attended the breakfastroom.
