If I were a tourist who wanted to go do very touristy Seattle things like check out the water and shore, I would never leave this place. It's perfectly situated, the entrance is small and unassuming. I like that it's an old hotel; it sits well in this neighborhood. The lobby is small and functional, and the desk staff (especially, I think his name was Antoine?) is professional, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and functional and clean.
We stayed twice; both times our room windows opened onto an air shaft, which we didn't like so much; would request a room with a window that opened to the street, but not sure that exists.More
