The rooms were very comfortable, the staff was incredibly attentive and the fitness center was very well equipped. It is within walking distance of the space needle, Pikes Place Market, and T Mobile Stadium. If I ever visit Seattle again I know where I’m staying.More

In the heart of town
The Arctic Club is a very nice older hotel. The rooms are quite small but clean. The staff is accommodating but not overly friendly. They do their job but are not very engaging. Parking is $50 per night which allows multiple entry and late check out on day of departure. The Arctic Room on the second floor is the highlight of the hotel. It is beautiful and reminiscent of old Europe.

Very cool history and decor, but outside is another story
Went to Seattle because we had never been. This hotel has history, cool décor which is carried over into the hallways and rooms. Bed and room were comfortable. Staff nice, but NO brewed coffee complimentary here! Bummer. We prefer to have our coffee outside of room in restaurant or lobby, but none in lobby and in the restaurant you pay a pretty price for it -- Really when you are staying at this hotel as a guest and NOT a cheap hotel at that!
However, right outside the city (I know it isn't the hotel itself) has a SERIOUS homeless problem. Just walking to restaurants/attractions you see homeless on the street, every little nock they are there. Not only that we saw syringes, waste (yes human & not), trash, people so high they were in the middle of the street shouting/floating almost and traffic having to dodge them literally, shop employees chasing them out because they were stealing, etc. Just a true disappointment for a beautiful city. Another great stay
This was our fourth stay at this hotel. We enjoy the location and the historic feel of the hotel. Fantastic staff. Very convenient to take the train from SeaTac to pioneer square station and just walk across the street to the hotel. You are a short train ride or walk to Westlake center, Pikes Place Market, the waterfront and Pioneer square. Lots of good food options close by. We will return.

Best Location & Hotel
So glad I stayed here! Closer to the stadiums if you're into sports and a walkable hike to Space Needle & Pier 69 tour ships, Uber or yellow taxi at night if been a long day or tour. You will be greeted by the cute young males and friendly Bellhop staff of Jordan & Bradley, so helpful each and everyday for directions, questions of areas to visit if worth walking, and get your breakfast coupon or other info from them. Then you will be checked in and helped by Patrick, Ashley, Jessica or the rest of the awesome front desk staff, always there to help you and figure out the damn Uber App, lol, I'm not a techy! Finally, you will be parched and need food from either the Juno or Polar Bars where you'll meet Sean at the Juno who puts up with the drunk guy that talks to you and at the Polar you'll think you're at the Overlook Hotel with the white jacket tux uniform. Mike reminded me of Lloyd from the Shining because of the old style bar ambiance and uniform, a great bartender. Also the ladies of the Polar Bar are great too, Jordan & Jean. Great drink selections served with much humor, especially Mike aka Lloyd. Wasn't too keen on the food. Don't get the Reuben and hit or miss crab cakes. The room was fabulous, spacious, and always cleaned by the housekeeping staff. I would stay here again and definitely recommend it!!!

Nice hotel if you are a gentleman
So many creepy white men portraits throughout the hotel made me feel in the presence of historic bad behavior and probably ghosts. If you are a scoundrel or active participant of a boys club, this is your spot! Definitely not for me.
