Very clean and modern hotel. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Location is about a fifteen minute walk from many points of interest including the Space Needle and Pike's Place Market. The Whole Foods located downstairs has any option you can imagine. We will definately be back.

Room Tip: Space needle view is picturesque. City view rooms are very quite.

I have stayed at the Pan Pacific a few times. There is a lot that's great about it. Really nice rooms, good room service, great location, gym and spa onsite. The rooms each have a deep soaking tub, great at the end of a long day. It's also a great location, you can walk to Seattle attractions like Lake Union and the Seattle Center. A bonus is a Whole Foods a few steps away. I've often picked up dinner here and avoided in room dining. A downside is that they are not great with points or loyalty programs: their program gets you a free newspaper and a bottle of water. Also getting cabs is not the easiest thing: the valet has to call one so sometimes there's a delay during busy times. On the whole, highly recommend the Pan. It's a great place to stay.

We stayed at this contemporary style hotel for two nights. Everything was wonderful and we really liked it. That staff was professional and helpful. They did everything to make us feel welcomed. Housekeeping did a very good job keeping the place tidy, neat, and clean. I really like the bathroom in our room. Together we enjoyed a nice hot bath in the large tub. The bed was soft and comfortable. The view of the city was spectacular and the location was great for restaurants and many other attractions. I had a great time enjoying the use of the pool the hotel had. This hotel had a nice and casual atmosphere! Overall I was completely satisfied during my two night stay!

This is a nice hotel for work but I would not stay here for pleasure. Too far away from the core of Seattle. Valet parking runs $39 a night. Rooms are nice, bed is a little hard. Meeting rooms and food were really good. There is a great little patio on the 2nd floor that is really a nice spot.

Thank you for staying with us on your recent business trip to Seattle. We hope that our location will not be a hindrance from you returning to our hotel again, whether on business or pleasure. We do offer complimentary rides (7 days a week, from 7AM to 10PM) in our hotel vehicle to anywhere in downtown Seattle. We are also within walking distance to most of the major attractions, restaurants and stores in the city. Boyfriend got a deal on Jetsetter for this hotel. We checked in late Friday night for a quick weekend trip, and were impressed by the staff when checking in, and again by the size of the room (studio suite). Everything was wonderful except the bed, hence the 4 stars. I've never felt a harder mattress--there was literally no give to it. I would expect a hotel of this size could invest in some new, softer mattresses or at least a pillow top or memory foam pad!! Otherwise we really did love the hotel, and the location was convenient for many different attractions and restaurants! Our "city view" from the 11th floor was great, and we didn't feel the need to pay extra for a Space Needle view...

Room Tip: 11th floor has great views!

My wife and I chose the Pan Pacific because of their weekend package which included parking - usually about $40 in Seattle hotels - and the contemporary design. The Pan Pacific met our expectations for comfort, housekeeping and professional service from parking valets to reception staff. Our room was on the 8th floor with a view of Lake Union. The room was well fitted. The bathroom had a large soaker tub and a large shower. All fittings and fixtures were very good with the minor exception that two sliding doors, between the soaker tub and the bedroom area, did not close tightly - this might be a privacy issue for some.

We live in a downtown area of a major city. Noise levels, about which some have commented, were not a issue to us. We are also used to walking and found the distances acceptable, albeit a bit further to the main shopping and tourist areas than other similarly priced and quality hotels, e.g., Fairmont when they have a weekend special.

Our first morning, we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant / bar. It was good and reasonably priced. Our second morning we bought in fresh fruit from Whole Foods and coffee / breakfast sandwiches from Starbucks, which are both conveniently in the same building complex.

WE had one dinner at Tutta Bella pizzeria, also in the building complex. We really enjoyed their thin crust pizzas. Casual, family atmosphere with good service and reasonable prices.

The gym is well equipped and clean but across the courtyard from the hotel.

I was disappointed with our week stay a few weeks ago at the Seattle Pan Pacific. The Staff was not helpful. For instance I asked if a front desk person could help me mail a letter and I was told to go out on the street and find a mailbox. There were visible rat traps. The Street noise was constant. A Hypnos bed is not always good. The spa was limited especially the facilities. Housekeeping was inconsistent as well as the amenities were whatever they had. The closet was very small. It was not as advertised. View was of the back of the Seattle Times and the homeless. Will not stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms on a higher floor in the corners are nicer.
