Review of The Last Supper Club - CLOSED

The Last Supper Club
Reviewed April 15, 2008

I had the time of my life last week at the Last Supperclub. Located in the heart of Pioneer Sq, and next door to other clubs 'Trinity' and 'Heavens', this one wins hands-down as the best. The line-ups continue to have the best DJ acts-they have international recognition and tear up the dance floor.

I go about once every six weeks, and have a great time every time. The bartenders are professional and the doormen don't have attitude (but maybe this is because I'm female). All in all, if you like house, progressive and trance, come here. If you like hip hop and rap, stay away, at least on Fridays.

I live in Capitol Hill, near The Paramount, and it's about a $7 cab ride to the club, fyi.

Last Supper Club is a staple in the Seattle nightlife scene. Open Wednesday night through Sunday night you will definately find a consistent line up of local and world renound dj's. For the most part LSC (as those who frequent call it) caters to the young, hip, and industry types alike. The music ranges from house to breaks, progressive, and trance on the main floor most nights. The lower level (which is often a much cooler temp, and a nice break when the main floor gets packed) often plays Drum & Bass and sometimes hip hop.

Thursday "Openhouse" (IMO) is the best night! Usually free cover before 11pm for a world DJ on the main floor w/ DnB on the lower level. Lines get looong at around 10:30 and the bouncers mean business on the 11pm thing! The place gets so packed you can barely dance, but worth it if your there to see a great DJ up close and personal.
