This is a very nice place that is literally across the street from the baseball and football/soccer stadiums in Seattle. The immediate neighborhood is fine. However, it is not too far from Pioneer Square which I am not a fan of unless you are going to the Seattle Underground Tour (which is great!).
In the interest of full disclosure, I booked this hotel on Hotwire and they listed it as "Pike Market / Downtown Seattle" which I do not agree with in the least. I will be writing to Hotwire about that. However, this hotel offers a shuttle that will drop you off and pick you up near the market and I think even goes as far as the Space Needle. The shuttles run frequently and the drivers were very cool. I am the type that would have preferred to just be able to walk over to the market and not have to wait on a ride, but again, this is not the hotel's fault at all. IMO, they do just about everything they can to make you stay a good one.
The property itself is very clean and modern. I thought the room was a good size, etc. There are light rail stops fairly near the hotel since the shuttle does not run to the airport. Honestly, I would probably be more likely to stay at a place a few blocks from the market in the future but if that is not a requirement of yours, I think this place is great.

At the last minute yesterday we decided to stay overnight in Seattle instead of driving home after our night out. The staff at Silver Cloud was great. We asked them to call a cab for us to get to our dinner reservation but they offered their free shuttle service instead. We also used the shuttle service to and from our breakfast reservation. Good location next to Safeco and CenturyLink. Plan to go back in the summer months and check out the rooftop pool and hot tub!

The hotel is nice and the rooms are decorated to my contemporary, clean lines taste. There is a great Sports Bar/restaraunt just across the street. It is adjacent to both stadiums and across the street from the WaMu Theater. The tub is deep which is a plus. My king room had a small fridge which was great to keep cold beverages in. The front desk staff and valets were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the train and ship horns that are very loud and sound very early (like 3 and 4 AM). Overall, this is a great hotel if you can deal with the loud horns.

We visit this hotel every time when we travel to Seattle for a Seahawks and Mariners games. It is convenient and has a great atmosphere. The location is perfect within walking distance to the stadiums. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

I was booked into this hotel through the Hotwire site, so i didn't know where i would be staying ahead of time. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are large and comfortable, everything felt new, and the staff were pleasant. There is sort of a generic, American sports bar/restaurant in the lobby that i did not visit, but it seemed lively. My only complaint about this place was the location. If you were in Seattle to see sports, the location would be perfect, but if you are doing things downtown/belltown (as i was), it is a bit far - and i say that as someone who likes to walk. I ended up up spending money on taxis in the evening just to return to the hotel. That said, it is very close to the Amtrack station, which might be convenient if one is arriving by train.
After the fact, reading others' reviews they mentioned there being a free shuttle service, but this was not mentioned to me by the staff and was not listed in the 'hotel services' binder in the room (which i read specifically to see if they had a shuttle).
So, depending on what you are doing in Seattle, this place might be great, or not. For me (not there for sports) it was just an inconvenient location.

Thank you for your comments. We try to inform our guests of this valuable FREE service with our local area shuttle. We have information on display in our lobby on two video screens and several front desk plaques. We even added it to our key packet so we hand it out at check in. We will retrain our front desk staff to mention it at check in so that everyone can take advantage of our FREE shuttle. Thank you. We hope to have you back again to use this service.

We stayed here for a Monday night football game and besides the outcome (!) everything was great. We had a large group with us and everyone's experience was perfect, which is saying a lot when you have 5 different rooms and personalities. Not one complaint from the entire group. The rooms were extremely quiet and clean. I was worried about the noise from the fans but it was NEVER an issue. To get to your rooms or anywhere in the hotel you have to use your room key to access the elevator. After the game when the place was packed there were many employees present to make sure everything went smoothly. The shuttle is the best as you can park your car and never have to deal with the Seattle traffic. I would definitely stay here again. A MUST if you are attending any game whether NFL or MLB.

This was our second stay at SilverCloud Stadium for a Packer vs Seahawks game. The proximity to Century Link field is amazing. In under 5 minutes from leaving your stadium seat you will be back in your room or better yet, enjoying a good meal at the house bar/restaurant on site. We took advantage of the free shuttle and got a ride to and from all the sites. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. If the Pack goes back to Seattle (nightmares of the bitter ending hopefully forgotten by then), I will be booking the SilverCloud Stadium again for our stay.

Oh and if you are a visitor to Century Link field and a fan of the visiting team, be sure and take ear plugs with you. The crowd noise is enough to make your ears bleed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the courtyard. It was pleasent to look out and see the plants and lit fountai...
