“Gorgeous Architechture!”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

I have never seen a building like the SPL! It's only a couple blocks from the waterfront, and it's a definite must-see for visitors. It's enormous, and beautiful, and full of so many cool features! Love all of the different spaces and the big auditorium too. It's a great piece of Seattle culture and it's also a beautiful place to take photos if you're looking for a great photo op!

“Awesome Facility”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

Take at least a quick tour around this beautifully designed building's 10 floors of books, computers, and great views through the glass pane walls. You can pick up a visitor's guide at the desk. There's even a well-tiered theater for author talks and concerts. Good Seattle views from the top floor.

Reviewed January 1, 2014

What's not to love with this place, thousands (maybe millions) of books, an impressive architectural design and a chocolate cafe with hundreds if options of hot chocolate to sip whilst reading a book or magazine I the peaceful surroundings.

“A beautiful library!”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

I love this library .. besides being architecturally beautiful, it's got all sorts of things to amuse yourself with. Play a piano? Sheet music and pianos available. Obviously a huge selection of books. Lectures, tax help, computers .. it's more than the libraries of old. Helpful people and a fun gift shop round out the experience. I just heard on the news that the Seattle Library has one of the largest e-reading subscribers in the nation. Huge selection for e-reading.
