“Walk The Dewey Decimal System”
Reviewed June 1, 2012

Take the elevator to the top public floor and walk the gently sloping levels moving along the Dewey Decimal System. Stop and randomly open draws and browse their clippings collection -- playbills from the 30's, advertising placards, fun stuff. Wi-fi throughout the stunning building. Grab a cup of coffee in the lobby and settle in and read.

“Kodak moments inside and out!”
Reviewed May 30, 2012

After taking pictures of the outside architecture, head to the 10th floor for some great shots of the city. A "Friends of the Library" shopping bag in the gift store ($1) can hold all the city souvenirs and produce you will buy later!

“Need to print something - this is the place”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

We came simply because we wanted to order tickets to a soccer game from Stubhub and needed access to a printer. The computer area was vast and well staffed. We quickly were given a free pass and logged in with our new credentials, ordered the tickets and sent them to a print queue then logged into a printer computer and printed them off for 15 cents per sheet. The building is magnificent and worth a visit just for the architecture.

“Beyond modern”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

We visited due to the fact my wife is a librarianand we always go to the library whenever we travel. Very modern inside and out which was fine. One floor had monitors which scrolled books checkedout the previous hour which was cool. Avoid the fourth floor like the plague. Everything is RED. Walls and lights. I confess I had brain surgery for an aneurysm a few years ago but I seriously nearly had a panic attack. It was like something out of a bad horror movie. Asidefromthat it's just abig library.
