We were lucky to see the resident eagle when we visited the first time! :) Beautiful beach, lots of driftwood, safe place for my young son to run around in. Wonderful view of the ferry boats, Vashon Is.

Generally flat and great view of the water, Vashon, Blake, and Bainbridge Islands, plus others who motivate you to keep on going

For the last 10 years we've lived in West Seattle and often frequent the park. Lincoln park runs right along the waterfront ABD a great place for a jog, stroll or even a picnic. When the salmon are running you often see fisherman on the point trying their luck. The park is well maintained. There is a large saltwater swimming pool at one end as well!

Nearshore opportunities for low tide visits make Alki one of the great wonders of Puget Sound ecology observation. Eggs appear at different times of the year for invertebrates, fish or algae. Check out the Seattle Aquarium beach naturalist schedule during spring tides for interpretive experiences.

This large park in West Seattle has many paths to explore, whether you want to walk on tree lined paths, or along a beautiful beach. The pathway at the beach is long and straight, making it perfect for beginning bikers or skaters. The pool located near the beach is heated saltwater and open only during the summer.
