If you like greasy spoons this is the place for you. This place obviously knows what they are doing since they've been in business for so long. We sat down at the bar, wasn't too crowded, but it probably took 5-10 minutes to even get noticed. Of course I'm a guy but my wife's pretty hot and even then they didn't pay attention. We are not locals and it's clear they couldn't give a crap about visitors. After flagging them down, we got ordered food/drinks. One "juicy lucy" burger and one hickory BBQ burger and they were both awesome. Plate was also piled high with fries which were excellent. Couldn't figure out what made the fries so good, but they were. You can also get lots of different hot sauces, local stuff. They didn't get much of a tip, but I'd go back.

Service was speedy and courteous. Portions were big and dishes typical American home style food. My partner had the pot roast and I had mac n cheese, both of which were good.

Don't go here if you want to be pampered... but that's what makes it great. It's dive-like, but in the best possible way. The food, location, and atmosphere are top notch. Went looking for a unique dining experience and definitely found it at The 5 Point Cafe.

Came here for breakfast about 10 on a Saturday morning.
Initially told the wait for a table was 20 minutes, so we sat outside as the staff member advised she would let us know when one was available.
After about 15 minutes she approached us and advised there were two seats available next to each other at the bar but there wouldn't be a table ready for another 10 minutes at least.
We didn't mind being seated at the bar so were went in and looked at the menus.
About 5 minutes in, we each ordered a soft drink.
When the soft drinks arrived after 10 minutes we ordered our food.
It then took 45 minutes for us to get our meals which were pancakes and a BLT.
Would be able to forgive the time waiting if the food was as amazing as we had been led to believe but it was average at best.
Really wasn't worth the trouble and the atmosphere of the place leaves a lot to be desired.

Cool old time café. Sit at the counter for interaction with the staff. Was in Seattle for 24 hour and ate there twice. Was busy at 3 in the afternoon and at 2 in the morning. Craft beers and great food. Priced right too. We had a blast teasing our waitress.
