Kind of off the beaten track but worth it. Food is what you would expect from a pub and service is very good. Very friendly atmosphere and seems to be a soccer spot for those looking for a game. Lots of sports on so a good place to catch a game.

While in Seattle we watched several football games here. The drinks are very reasonable and the servers are very effficient.

The Owl "N Thistle is a hideaway on Post near Marion. Close to the ferry terminal and Pioneer Square. While it doesn't have the most updated decor and is a little dark, it is truly a genuine place with genuine, friendly people and it's become one of our favorite places to grab some chow before a show or a game, especially during happy hour. The HH menu is robust and covers a lot of options. The food comes up fast and fresh with crispy fish and chips, pulled pork sliders, hummus, etc. in portions that are reasonably sized. It's a great place to watch football, especially the home games as it fills up with those headed for the game then empties out so you can watch the big screen without Noisy Bill providing live action coverage.... Go Seahawks!

This place is a bit out the way, and not as "popular" as it's upstairs neighbor Fado. We actually went here to watch a soccer match when Fado was ridiculously crowded. We had great service and good food. It's kind of a dark-looking place when you enter, but the staff make up for it by being very friendly and inviting. The food is pretty standard pub fare, there are plenty of TV's to watch sports on and the cocktails are well-made.
