Safeco Field is an old style ballpark which is very clean & well done. Nothing special about food available. All fast food. No sit down restaurants but I did find a wine bar! Parking is available on-line at the garage. When we arrived we found that is was $20 to park not the $27 we paid online. Horrendous parking garage. Takes forever to get out.

We were visiting Seattle and discovered our home team was playing there. It was very easy to get to from downtown Seattle. The fans were nice to us even though we were in opposing team gear. Great sight lines and prices were good. Yes we would go there again.

Came here for the Beyonce and JayZ concert and had a great time - the field is beautiful and the roof was retracted so we could see the sky all night. Perfect weather and no rain so it was awesome.

They accept cash only at concession stands so if you're visiting the states make sure you bring cash to this venue - I wanted to buy t shirts but the lines were so long at the end and there weren't that many sizes left so I ended up with nothing. There is an ATM somewhere in the stadium according to signage that said "need cash? atm ----arrow" but we never actually saw it. There was an atm outside along the wall beside the ticket windows though so if you need cash get it before you enter.

It was a huge crowd and the walking space can be really cramped when trying to walk to your section to enter the field - we had field seats and you could only enter from certain sections and it took us a while to get to the stairway leading to the field.

The reason I couldn't give this venue 5 stars is because the parking garage was a disaster poor organization - we purchased parking garage pass beforehand and everything was just so slow, it took us an hour and a half to get out of the parking garage at the end of the concert. My advice for people who are coming here for events/concerts would be to just park a little farther away in the pay parking lots they charge $20 for event parking all night, we paid 45$ for the garage parking. Careful when you are approaching the garage 1 on your right because if you don't make the turn in you will miss it and end up on the highway.

All in all the venue is a must see - it's gorgeous and architecture is impressive - it was almost a full house for this concert and our field seats were well laid out. We stood most of the night (me in heels) and it was still bearable because they put down this hard plastic flooring over the field.

I would probably come here for other events in the future!

Beautiful open stadium, easy to get tickets and an easy cab ride from downtown area...If you want a better view sit in Left Field, so then the sun won't be shining on you..

My son and I won tickets to see the Mariners play against the Yankees, and got to meet Macklemore and Felix Hernandez first. We had seats high up in the nose bleeds, but had a wonderful night (despite the fact that the Ms lost!). I reserved parking on line before we left home, and drove straight into a parking spot. Safeco is a nice stadium with absolutely stunning views when the roof is open. Gotta try the garlic fries :)
