“Don't Eat Here.”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

There were five people in our party. We arrived early, midweek, and the restaurant was less than half filled. We were "greeted" by a surly waiter who asked why we hadn't made a reservation. He said he would make up a table for us (make up a table for five?), and then we never saw him again. We witnessed another couple who said they had been waiting 20 minutes for their check. We left, and went somewhere else for dinner. We won't be back here.

“Great location, great food”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

This has become our go-to for good Mexican food in West Seattle. Friendly service, good food, and a great patio when the weather is nice.

Each dish has plenty food...generally my husband and I split a meal (or have plenty of leftovers if we get out own!). Fajitas and enchiladas are my favorite...generally topped off with a blended strawberry margarita!

“Lovely little neighborhood spot”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

Discovered this on a business trip and it seems like the kind of place where you could really be nurtured as a regular. Wait staff fast an attentive. Food better than average ( had titillating soup) and the salsa was great! We were the only customers there on a Monday at noon. Bathroom oddly configured but clean and presentable.

“Great Mexican Food!”
Reviewed November 17, 2011

What a gem! This neighborhood restaurant doesn't look like much from the street but inside the food is great. Fast service, friendly staff, good menu, reasonable prices, and great food. We had such a great time here and no one left hungry. They have pitchers of margaritas and the food is authentic. Delish!

“good basic mexican food”
Reviewed August 20, 2011

We've had dinner at Guadalajara several times, but it still hasn't made the list of our regular places.

Food: Food was good. we really liked the salsa, ordered some great enchiladas. also order shrimp fajitas which were good, but a little salty.

Price: all entrees are $10 and up (3 enchiladas for $12, shrimp fajitas for $15). We used a restaurants.com gift certificate, which made everything a really good value.

Service: Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The cook even made rounds through the restaurant asking people how they liked the food. We went fairly late at night, and the restaurant was fairly empty. The bar side still had several people.

Atmosphere: Inside the restaurant and bar is nothing fancy, but there is a great deck outside that is a fun place to eat when it is warm outside.
