It makes ours here in PDX (Fubonn, which is good) look like a bodega! An amazing array of prepared foods, sakes, veggies, bakery (get the coconut cream puff and red bean bun), fish, etc.

We had lunch in the food court and there were many choices and reasonable prices... This place is with walking distance of the train station. We also went shopping for essentials and prices were good. One treat is that they have a deli with food to take out and you could gather more food for a to go lunch/ dinner for the next day or later that day. Fresh fruits and vegetables also.

We ate here while in Seattle. UWAJIMA is a food court. It had thai, korean, vietnamese, and Japanese. Also, there was a large oriental grocery store.
When you're using your all dat pass to MAX street car stationr, get off at CHINATOWN. it is across from the exit. It is a chain grocery store, so make sure you go to the CHINATOW one.
I had KALBI RIBS (Korean). For dessert, was what I saw in Japan, a pastry which she stuffed with a cream center.
Go into the grocery store. It is very interesting. Toward the end of the firsr row was what look like a huge fish tank and alot of interesting fish. I finally realized (as it was in the meat dept.)
that you point to the fish you want and they net and clean it.

They had alot of JAPANESE BENTO BOXE (all kinds of lunches) We bought a couple the day we took Amtrak down to Portland--another adventure. The amtrac train station is down the street. Look for a cloak tower like BIG BEN.

The food court has decent food. Somehow I was a little disappointed however. The Uwajimaya store offers such a fabulous shopping experience that I expected a similar experience in the food court. To be sure, the food was good, but not much different from what you can have in many or most similar places.
