Nice place for lunch after a Pike Place Market visit. Go two streets towards the water, down the stairs...next pier to the Ferris wheel. My first time, but there was a line waiting to get in at 11am. Within a half an hour the place was pretty full. Good service, ample portions and recommend the crab offerings. My wife had choppino in a sourdough bread bowl and I had a calimari appetizer...food enough for another meal in a doggie bag. If the weather is cooperative ask for an outside seating. Wooden mallets and hardwood boards to crack crab with...don't wear your best clothes! While not epicurean dining, none the less, fun and popular place to have good seafood. Kid friendly. Moderate price...specialty dishes $25.00 plus per person.

We always go to the crab pot when we come to Seattle. A big pot of clams, mussels, crab, shrimp is served on a big piece of newsprint on the table. It comes with fresh corn, and potatoes. I think the crab pot is a little expensive but it is a nice treat to have fresh seafood. Nice views of the pier and harbour. A fun spot in Seattle.

Perhaps our expectations were higher give the location. Drink order was much larger that I asked for and was subsequently charged it.

This place was given several mixed reviews. However my experience was a good one. Upon arrival on a Monday night we were told that the wait was 3-45 minutes long, and it took not even that long.
We ordered one of the feats for two and was quite happy with it.
The food was good and fresh, and the service was prompt.

Check it out! It's fun!

The entire town of Seattle was very expensive and this is from someone that has traveled quite a bit so I'm used to tourist prices. The chowder was $13 for a cup! The shared bucket of seafood was $36 per person! It wasn't even really good food. I've had better in landlocked places. We later went to Ivars which was MUCH better and much more reasonable in terms of prices and taste. If you just want the experience it is a nice setting but don't go for the food.
