Description: Attenzione: The Pink Door will be closed Jan. through March 2017 for remodeling! Our beloved establishment will be in winter hibernation as we make some exciting changes, but rest assured the deep, lovely wrinkles will still be there. Aside from a much-deserved kitchen overhaul, the stage will be relocated, and we’ll offer a magical new seating area with a view of the water and sky. You can look forward to the same delicious seasonal food, same eclectic entertainment, and the same caring, lovely staff waiting to serve you! Follow our construction progress on Instagram. We are teaming with Seattle-based Metis Construction, an independent community of craftspeople proudly running a worker-owned company; we’re thrilled to have its artisan touch. See you in Spring!

Marvelous outside dining on a covered terrace with a view out to Elliott Bay and West Seattle beyond. Perfect evening dinner location for a Seattle experience. Seafood risotto entree was marvelous as was the mushroom pasta entree. The restaurant has a nice wine menu that doesn't overwhelm, but offers reasonable selection. Finished the evening with assorted gelato. Service was good. Lovely evening all around. Tip - make reservations and be sure to be on time. The outdoor terrace is a popular destination and fills up quickly.

Great view on patio, good wine and the best GF pasta ever! Don't miss the chance to eat here!
More fancy inside than patio, located down in the public market area.
Area is busy but restaurant not to noisy.

This restaurant is a little hard to find - don't look for a sign on the alley, but an actual door that is pink.

The menu was fairly standard Italian bistro fare, but the place was packed, and people were having a good time. As a tourist experience in Seattle, it's worth considering.

My bill for two persons, with a bottle of wine and the tip, came to $120.

Wanted to experience this restaurant due to the reviews on TripAdvisor. Called to personally make reservations for the dining room on a Monday night to ensure we would see the trapeze act. We were visiting the area for the 1st time & it was our last night there. Read it was difficult to locate, since it is down an alley, so we arrived a little early (didn’t want to be late – right). Was rudely informed by the hostess that we were “way too early” – then she told us that the bar was “completely full” so we couldn’t wait in there – and then was sent to a bar a few doors down (which was actually closed). When we returned, right on time, we were then greeted by the same hostess & told in the same stern, condescending tone… “Let me tell you how this is gonna work…” Needless to say, we didn’t get a table in the dining room; we were sat outside & told they would move us once a table opened… Yes, move us, our drinks, & our food from the patio, through the restaurant, and back to the dining room, once a table was open…IF a table was open. We refused to be treated in such a manner; after all, we are not accustomed to playing musical tables during our meals, nor are we accustomed to such rude treatment. They should have a better system for taking reservations (like - not scheduling the max # knowing you will have people that stay too long & walk-ins); or maybe not even bother with reservations. We also noticed that the trapeze sat empty both times we were there (show was supposed to be 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm...we were there around 8:30 pm). NOTE: I don’t typically complain - and have never complained at a restaurant; I am pleasant to deal with & normally avoid conflict. I am very reasonable & when faced with disappointment, typically rationalize it. However, from the moment we entered the door…this restaurant exhibited the worst behavior I have ever experienced. TERRIBLE
