Description: Attenzione: The Pink Door will be closed Jan. through March 2017 for remodeling! Our beloved establishment will be in winter hibernation as we make some exciting changes, but rest assured the deep, lovely wrinkles will still be there. Aside from a much-deserved kitchen overhaul, the stage will be relocated, and we’ll offer a magical new seating area with a view of the water and sky. You can look forward to the same delicious seasonal food, same eclectic entertainment, and the same caring, lovely staff waiting to serve you! Follow our construction progress on Instagram. We are teaming with Seattle-based Metis Construction, an independent community of craftspeople proudly running a worker-owned company; we’re thrilled to have its artisan touch. See you in Spring!

I've eaten here with parents, dates, out of towners, for girls night out, clients- it's great for anything. The front of the restaurant is romanticized and whimsical and fills up fast with reservations. The back half of the restaurant is first come, first serve and has a much more casual vibe. The bar is in the back half as well, and there are also burlesque shows on the weekends. The food is great and the service is always pretty good too.

My favorite part is that they have a big patio open in the summer with views of the ocean. This area fills up fast, but fantastic if you can get a seat.

Also, it's in Post Alley and don't expect a sign saying "Pink Door." It's an actual pink door that you have to look for, fyi. (It's directly across from Kell's which has a big sign to help you find it.)

First off, the service was terrific. Many places just don't offer excellent customer service any more. They were attentive, warm, accommodating and just plain friendly people (the greeters, bar tenders & wait staff). What's really impressive? The FOOD! World class food at reasonable price. Not that the place needs any extra business as it is well know in Seattle (and hidden), it is definitely worth the trip for a nice meal, romantic dining or a party out on the town. We will for sure be returning.

After hunting around for the unmarked entrance to this place for several minutes, we were shown to our table by the friendly staff and had a very helpful and excellent server for the evening. The atmosphere is cozy, noisy, but enjoyable all at the same time. (My only very, very minor grip is that the restaurant uses off-coloured lighting. This is probably for their cabaret show later in the evening, but unfortunately the green lighting directly above our table made the food look a bit off. Kinda weird.)

The food? Amazing. And worth every penny. What also struck us as particularly noticeable was how quick everything occurred, from bringing our drinks to bringing the food. I had the butternut squash ravioli--to die for--and my wife had some sort of bolognese pasta dish. Their spicy tomato soup is also very delicious, and a great appetizer.

Reservations are strongly recommended for a Saturday night, and we were lucky to get in at all having only booked a few days before. There are two entrances, one through some sort of building across the street from PPM, and the other is through an unmarked pink door on Post Alley. Only problem is, if it's dark out (as it was at 5:30pm on Jan 26), it almost looks like just another grey door and is very easy to miss. A sign would be nice.

All in all, this is an excellent restaurant with excellent food and very good service. My wife and I would highly recommend and will be returning on our next weekend trip down to Seattle.

I loved everything about our visit and can't wait to return, it was hard to find because there isn't a sign which only added to the intrigue. We didn't know we'd need reservations but our server was kind enough to move us to a table where we could watch the trapeze dancer. I had probably one of the best steaks i've ever eaten with fancy little onions on top. the fresh fruit pomangranate martini is literally to die for... I had several or more...

Although this restaurant is certainly not unknown, unless you go looking for it specifically you would never find it! We had no reservation, so it was packed on a Friday night in January. We were quickly seated at a table in the bar, where we ended up staying and enjoying our whole meal. Service was very attentive, our glasses were always full. The meal was excellent, with very generous portions. Next time we'll have to stop in to see the show!
