Description: Attenzione: The Pink Door will be closed Jan. through March 2017 for remodeling! Our beloved establishment will be in winter hibernation as we make some exciting changes, but rest assured the deep, lovely wrinkles will still be there. Aside from a much-deserved kitchen overhaul, the stage will be relocated, and we’ll offer a magical new seating area with a view of the water and sky. You can look forward to the same delicious seasonal food, same eclectic entertainment, and the same caring, lovely staff waiting to serve you! Follow our construction progress on Instagram. We are teaming with Seattle-based Metis Construction, an independent community of craftspeople proudly running a worker-owned company; we’re thrilled to have its artisan touch. See you in Spring!

“Excellent food, fresh ingredients, romantic and eclectic atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2011

We had dinner here in December prior to a theatre visit. Our valet (Miles from Hotel 1000h helped us find the entrance (can be difficult), he actually walked us to the door after driving us in the hotel car. This place has a very cool romantic and eclectic atmosphere, dinner was wonderful made from fresh local ingredients, if your idea of Italian food is olive garden or spaghetti warehouse you will be disappointed. This is real food not microwaved. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. We missed the live entertainment as we had to leave early but came back for dessert and drinks the next evening and enjoyed some live music in the bar area. Chatted a little with our waiter from the night before (he recognized us), very nice experience.

Not sure if I woudl deal with the madeness that is dinner here, but it was perfect for a nice, leisurely lunch. The food was very good, service good and bartender excellent

“Just OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2011

The server was the best part of the meal for me as he was a real sweetie. The food was nothing to write home about, which was a bit of a shame as we'd waited til 10pm to eat there and expected it to live up to the hype. No entertainment the night I was there so can't comment on that aspect.

“Eclectic mix, great views, a bit hard to find”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2011

The Pink Door was definitely in the thick of the whole Pike's Place mania, but off the beaten path on Post Alley. Maybe my wife and I missed another main entrance but literally, we entered through an inconspicuous door with little signage. The restaurant is on several levels indoors but as the weather was extremely warm and pleasant, even for Seattle in July, we ate outside on the open air deck overlooking the ferries coming and going in the Sound.

Excellent, fresh seafood was what we were really looking for while on the West coast and it was available throughout the menu's selections. I'd recommend the carafe of the house wine.

The crowd is a bit more hip and upscale and we were pleased to find 20-something locals in such a touristy area dining casually in their own beautiful city.

“Wow!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2011

Service was incredible, every time I looked up the staff was there to meet my every desire. The food was incredible, from the eggplant tower, calamari and antipasti platter to the squid ink mollusk pasta and delicious house wine. I'm fairly picky about my dining out experiences and I can do nothing but rave about the Pink Door!
