We loved eating here with the great food and wonderful views. It was a bit inconvenient to get to the restaurant but it was worth it!

Grabbed dinner for Valentines in the cafe upstairs which is a little less pretentious than the restaurant downstairs and still has a great menu and fabulous views of sunsets and a warm fireplace too!

I have been to Ray's Boathouse Cafe 3 times in the past two months and it's been great each time. It can get a little noisy if there's a rowdy crowd around but you'll probably be so distracted by the food, you'll forget about it. The salmon is a melt in your mouth delight. The rare ahi tuna is incredible. However, I would stick to the fish. The only disappointment I've had was a reuben which was dry and cold. What was I thinking ordering something like that at a fish restaurant? Now, ending your meal with a sweet is fine here. Their cheesecake was both light and flavorful. It made me want to come back for more - of everything!

Foods are great. Excellent choice for romantic dining, especially at sunset time. Parking is no problem. Not recommended, if you are out of town visitor with no car. It is a hike in a taxi.

We had an elegant dinner at Ray's Boathouse after the recommendation of friends. It is a bit out of the way of downtown Seattle - we were staying downtown without a car and had to get a cab to go to the restaurant. But we paired it with a trip to the locks and fish ladder, so it was definitely worth the trip. The menu is not overwhelming, but we easily found our choices. Both seafood and beef were well prepared. The waitstaff was outstanding - attentive, friendly, and professional. The waitstaff was able to answer our many questions about how each entree was prepared knowledgeably and patiently.
