The food was delicious, but it was diner style, nothing fancy. I had a patty melt, aka a cheeseburger. You can get some local beers here, too, which were pretty good, but they only come in one size. "Beer size," as the waiter said, aka a pint.

Has a lot of history here, but he food was just your average greasy spoon fare. Can't really recommend it, but as I understand it, ithe whole block will be torn down soon, so it won't be around much longer anyway

Sad to say the best place in Seattle is going away. Being pushed out by high rises and big business. Its worth the effort to make it there before its gone. Yes its old and a little odd but the food is the best from breakfast to dinner.

Popular with hip folks (looks like a dive bar). Just went in for soup and I liked their version of tomato bisque with a little cayenne to warm us on a rainy day. The skid row guy who recommended it to us commended the varied menu!
