“Marvelous Maritime Maggie's”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

If you're looking for a wonderful outdoor patio restaurant, head to Maggie's at the Elliott Bay Marina. A first time visit this summer charmed us again with excellent food, service and marina atmosphere. We celebrated a 30th birthday here due to the casual and refreshing surroundings. Truly maritime Seattle.

Arriving during Happy Hour we chose steak sliders then ordered Ahi Tataki served rare and conveniently placed on a three-section chrome rack to hold each taco. I'm thinking I had the best Prime Rib French Dip ever with melt-in-your-mouth beef seasoned by sweet onions and Swiss cheese. Oh, we must mention the awesome sweet potato fries cleverly served in a frying basket. For the complimentary dessert the birthday girl chose coconut crème pie.

The combination of balmy summer weather, friendly service and delicious food viewing yachts in their slips and a cruise ship departing make Maggie's an unforgettable experience.

“Food was the best thing....”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

The food was all really quite good. I had pork tacos (very good) while the ex and son's girlfriend had ahi sandwiches, which were excellent. My son had mussels with bacon, which was an odd combo and certainly did not smell any too good. But in the overall it was just fine, but not any more than that.

We were there on a very wet Memorial Day morning. The place was not especially busy, which probably contributed to the not-very-cheery attitude of the staff who clearly would rather have been some place else. And the long walk to the bathrooms would be well improved by a little air freshener.... Funny smells back there.

Overall the place is fair. But there are many more and better places with water/marina views in Seattle.

“Great view; good thing”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

Something to do while the food sits waiting for a server to deliver. Fish and chips spare and tired on arrival; congealed chowder; ahi tuna club sandwich wilted; fish tacos a bright spot, maybe the reason everything else sat. Cold beer and a breezy sunny day.

“Perfect location!”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

Good spot for casual dining, good food. We sat outside, where it was a little breezy, but not too bad. Spectacular view of the harbor and Seattle.

The biggest negative of it was the almost constant, loud scraping of the heavy metal chairs and tables -- as the wait staff re-positioned them for different sized parties, and as customers themselves sat down or got up. The fish and chips were only ok, The meatloaf sandwich was tasty.

“Great service and a great view - that's it”
Reviewed April 28, 2013 via mobile

As the title states, the service was great and the view amazing. The food was mediocre at best. The fish in the fish and chips appears to be out of a frozen box, the chowder a bit salty. The crab and artichoke sandwich was also salty and the crab tasted a little on the old side. Best part of the meal was the pea salad AFTER I pulled the snow peas that hadn't been trimmed out of it and the tater tots on my friends plates. I won't return to this restaurant.
