“excellent place to eat”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

We came upon this restaurant by accident when we were looking for a quiet place to eat. We were all carrying luggage and they provided us with a safe place to store it. The service and food were both excellent. We thought that the clam chowder was even better than the chowder we had eaten at Ivar's . Our server was very attentive without hovering. The restaurant was nicely decorated and quiet. We will definitely go back there if we are in Seattle again.

“A Seattle Treasure!”
Reviewed May 10, 2014 via mobile

The seafood is fresh and delicious at Schuckers! The oysters are served on ice on a great looking tray with a Variety of delicious sauces. The couple next to us ate 12 and then ordered 5 more! The crab salad served here is the best in the city. The fresh fish is delicious, too. The friendly hostess and server made our evening special. This beautiful restaurant in the Fairmont Hotel is a Seattle tradition!

“Don't let the Fairmont intimidate You”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

I am usually the one to overlook hotel restaurants. We were staying at the Hilton which was under construction so Shuckers inside the Fairmont was across the street. Delightful - excellent seafood dishes, attentive servers and reasonable prices. We were celebrating a birthday and they went above and Beyoncé in making our evening extra special - I will definately go back when my travels take me to Seattle.

Located in the Fairmont hotel. Its a very busy restaurant and reservation are advised. We found the seafood to be well prepared and tasty.

“seafood in seattle!”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

We were in Seattle on our way to an Alaskan cruise and down the street from our hotel was a restaurant that looked intriguing! Schuckers! so we decided to have dinner - the restaurant has two entrances, one from the street and the other through the hotel. since we were not staying in the hotel we entered through the street entrance and was taken somewhat off balance. There was no host at the door, instead a waiter took us to the back of the restaurant, which was the hotel entrance, there the host had took our name (only one other table was taken at the time) we were then taken to a table by the same waiter who let us in! it was just not a welcoming way of doing business. our table was pleasant, our waiter was pleasant. he took our drink order, brought bread which was delicious and then took our order. I had the scallops which were absolutely wonderful, my husband had a chicken dish which was good. the service over all was very professional and the décor was definitely classic first rate hotel! we noticed throughout our dinner the folks that came in through the street did not seem as welcome as the hotel patrons but other than that we enjoyed our meal. there was another couple there who were on their second visit because they enjoyed it so much the night before......we enjoyed it but it would not be a choice to revisit. if you like seafood and nicely appointed restaurants I would say try it for dinner!
