Coastal Kitchen always satisfies. Sometimes exceeding expectations, always high standards in cleanliness, friendliness, and taste, Coastal Kitchen presents regional variations to menu throughout the year. Weekend brunch is worth the wait. Try the Half n half -- half crab, half shrimp with poached eggs. Superb place to enjoy marvelous creative food with family and friends.

Just our bad luck? We arrived for dinner "between coasts". When we made the reservation we were led to believe they'd be serving Sicilian fare. Our previous visit they'd been serving dishes inspired by the Moroccan coast. It seems if they don't have a coast to inspire them they're just average. I'm glad they have a new kitchen and apparently that was the cause of the delay - but we won't be making any special effort to go back so I hope it works out for them.

For a warm, no-rush get together with family and friends, Coastal Kitchen in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood is a great place for weekend breakfast! Great Oats cooked in milk with all the fixings, egg dishes with spicy potatoes, or a interesting omelet are just some of the menu samples. Recent upgrades include an extended bar.

Good choices and the freshest of vegetables. I had an excellent salad and my husband had a delicious fish dinner. It was quite busy but we never felt rushed.

Every one of their restaurants makes me feel like i'm in a grungy TGI Friday's. Boring menus poorly recreating American styles of cuisine. Soulless.
