We had breakfast here and it was wonderful but a little pricey. View was spectacular of the water and the Olympics.

It all started with a horrible hostess that felt the need to intentionally delay our reservation because of a request to be seated early. She consistently gave dirty looks to customers waiting to get in. 80% of the restaurant was empty and they refused to seat us 10 minutes earlier. 20 minutes late we were called to our table and our waitress didn't arrive until much later. In one of our first courses there was a pubic hair found in our pancake, the waitress took it away and provided another short stack 20 minutes later. The lobster hash must have used processed meat as the overall taste was similar to a TV dinner. 2 hours later we made it out of the restaurant and will never go back. Don't waste your time here and go to any one of the other great restaurants in Seattle!!!

We both ordered off their small plates menu and sat at the bar. It's understandable for bar service to be a bit spotty because they are busy filling drink orders for the whole place, but we found it hard to get anyone's attention. The food was alright, but the fries were incredibly stale and lukewarm. I'm sure a bit more effort goes into their more expensive dishes, but we expected their basic plates like fish and chips to be a bit better quality than mediocre.

If the season is right, the little deck overlooking the bay here is very cool. We loved sitting outside for lunch and watching all the boats. The menu is short but nice - the tuna melt and the spinach salad with salmon are terrific. My only complaint about this place is that there are no local wines by the glass on the menu - this was VERY disappointing. In an area with so many local choices the fact that the ones by the glass were European is my only complaint about this place. I don't know if the prices are worth it for dinner but lunch is highly recommended.

My mother and I enjoyed a lunch here while staying at The Edgewater. We both had the lunch fish and chips which came with soup and a little salad. Really yummy. Service was great too! And the view is killer.
