Located in the Edgewater Hotel your meal is accompanied by a view of the Sound. Local seafood, among other choices, is prepared to your taste. Our meal was very good and reasonably priced for the the level of service.

For a hotel restaurant, the food and service offered are very good. Breakfast and dinner were both nice and relaxing

1. Though I have resided in the PNW for almost half a century, I still draw in my breath when I walk in and see Elliot Bay spread out the length of this restaurant through floor to ceiling windows.
2. The dining room is unique and elegant without being stuffy. Real tree trunks hold up the ceiling with branches attached by stainless steel joints. Crystal chandeliers do not look incompatible with chrome globes over the bar, and b-b like chains drip light onto the booth tables.
3. The waitstaff is unerringly professional. Drop a spoon and it will never hit the floor. They are there when you want them and invisible when you don't. None of this grabbing away plates while your fork is still in the air or constant nagging as to whether you are "still working". Here, you really do feel like a guest.
4. The menu is varied and creative. Broiled grapefruit with rum, brown sugar and tiny shreds of fresh mint, a layered smoothie with blackberries, mangos and raspberries topped with a vanilla whip, Lobster hash with roasted tomato Hollandaise, Classics like Croque Madame made with brioche, Northwest crabcakes with poached egg, three different bennies -- a liberal and creative use of seafood and ingredients fresh from the Market.
5. Everything tastes delicious. Our party of four shared tastes from three different courses, and agreed that all 12 items were a hit.. Not a so-so item on the table.
6. Presentation was nourishment for the eyes, as beautiful to look at as to eat. Every topping, garnish, serving piece was supremely suited for that menu offering.
7. The small touches included unique looking cutlery, replaced every course, cloth napkins, and a coffee pot on the table for refills. The china and glassware were lovely.
8. Expect the $6 parking fee for valet parking to be added to your bill but in this high density area, it's nice to have parking taken care of in such a speedy and efficient manner.
9. The three course pre fixe brunch menu allows choice of starter, main plate and dessert, yielding approximately 8,324 possible combinations. This may or may not be an exaggeration, but you get the idea.
10. The $25 Table d'hote Sundays are a great value with choices of three courses, PLUS champagne or a mimosa. The portions were just right and the pace was perfect. We all agreed that this was far superior to a buffet yet on the low end of that price range in Seattle. No rushing, no piling up plates with heaps of "everything", no constant up-and-down.
If you want a lovely, gracious, quintessentially Pacific Northwest Sunday brunch at a price that, even as a splurge is a terrific value, then Six Seven is your perfect Ten.
