Food was good and the bartender could make the best Old Fashion I've ever had. A good place to go. Accommodating staff.

Reservations - odd that they only an 815pm reservation time and when we arrived to the restaurant the dining area was not full.
We sat outside and loved the view. The waiter was knowledgeable of the food and wine. The food was good but nothing spectacular. I had the cioppino was great with seafood but the broth did not stand out.

Went last night with 4 other people. Here in Seattle with Wine Educators conference so food and drink our specialty. One of our group picked Aqua as a highly rated place with a great view.

That being said, the view was great. Service was prompt efficient and accurate, even a bit showy.

But the food. We had an appetizer of fried oysters. They were cooked in old grease and burnt. Other apps were good including soup. Wine was quadruple retail not a good deal.

Entrees were uneven. Crab and shrimp Louie was good. Crab salad good. Cedar planked salmon good. 2 scallop dishes had cold, gritty scallops were sent back and both people ended up eating lobster mashed potatoes. 2 meals and 1 appetizer were comped. Problem here was that after the fact we found a review from February that had the same scallop problem and not fixed. Can't recommend for food but service and view great.

we had a table outside by the water. beautiful sunset view, but the otherwise magnificent view of Mr Ranier is spoiled by the cranes at the port, so no pictures.

food was good, but prices were way too high for the cuisine (and I am from NY).

The location to Aqua b El Gaucho was definitely amazing! I went with my brother and the sun was setting on the pier. It was definitely an amazing view for our dinner. I got the salmon, scallops, creamy seafood soup, mashed potatoes and bread pudding. The lobster mashed potatoes was not very good. The soup and salad were pretty good, but I wouldn't say my best meal. Overall I give this an average review.
