Thought this was closer to the hotel, but was a long walk in cold, windy conditions. Restaurant was cozy but much trendier than anticipated--felt underdressed in casual clothes, although there is no dress code on the website. Service was adequate, portions were reasonable for the price. Bathrooms were dark and disorienting; not your standard restaurant bathroom (goes along with the trendiness, naturally). We would go back again but perhaps dress more business casual so we don't get looks from the greeters at the front podium.

My second visit and both were amazing. The place looks like a modern bistro with great service. The shushi isnt cheap but is really great. Is love this place and recommend to everybody!

Friend & I went in for a bite after a show (11pm). Pleasantly surprised to find they offered a late night Happy Hour (Sun.-Tue. 10pm-12am /Wed.-Sat. 11pm-1am). Not so much for the drinks, but reduced price menu. Loved the Miso soup with sliced shitake mushrooms. I ordered Yakitori (moist and not prefabbed in appearance) with Tempura Prawn roll (we call it Dynamite Roll in Van.,B.C.), and a California Roll with real snow crab (it would be standard imitation crab back home). My friend ordered the "Pretty Python" that was very impressive in appearance and taste ( she loved it inspite of not liking raw fish).
Overall, great food beautifully presented in lovely modern decor by prompt, polite servers.
P.S. If you don't do dinner here, pop in for a drink & a nibble at either of their pre or post dinner Happy Hours. You won't be disappointed.:)

a very nice place to dine but still casual. One of the best happy hours in Belltown. The sushi rolls are terrific, my favorites are the Seattle tempura roll and the Las Vegas roll. Try these if you want something a little different. One of the best things is that you get free edaname.
I can't recommend the desserts though but everything else the menu is delicious.
The staff is always very friendly and attentive.

convenient location, solid good sushi. it can get very crowded so go early if you can. Tuna is top grade, nice and melt-in-your-mouth. You won't find lots of trendy rolls here, which is refreshing.
