“Great Anniversary dinner.”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

We went to El Gaucho while we were in Seattle for our 20th anniversary and had a very good dinner. They had spread rose petals on our table with a very nice Happy Anniversary note. Our waiter and the captain were excellent. We shared a 20 oz Chateaubriand with asparagus and mashed potatoes and cherries jubilee for dessert. Everything was very well done. I was surprised there were not more people there, but then again nothing was crowded anywhere we went in Seattle.

“Best dinner for those special occasions.”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

El Gaucho is the favorite place for anniversary dinners and birthdays. My husband and I absolutely love the chateau briand for two. The caesar salad is wonderful and prepared table side. And for desert, the banana foster is outstanding. If you're in the mood for just a happy hour, it is also a great deal, though the menu is much more limited. Always A+++ service... never disappointed with anything about El Gaucho.

“Amazing food”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

We were here for a group gathering and was very impressed with both the quality and speed of the service. I was even escorted to the bathroom. The drinks were great: I recommend the pomegranate vodka with 7-up. The food was excellent. We had bananas foster for desert and it was the best I've ever tasted.

“Service excellent - food very good”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

A very enjoyable experience with top class service. Our main services providers Megan and Ben, could not be faulted. Megan even went to the trouble of arranging a print out of directions to our destination following the meal. Ben was attentive and very obliging. Service from both was top notch.

Meal - one of us ordered steak, the other chicken. To be honest in our case, the chicken was the better meal and a third of the cost. Whilst my peppercorn steak was very tasty, it was quite grisly and definitely not the best steak I have eaten. Now for positives, the corn side dish was amazing and the scalloped potatoes excellent. After the main course we were presented a platter of fruit, nuts and cheese, a very nice touch and then lo and behold we were advised that we were receiving a complimentary desert - we chose cherries jubilee which is cooked at the table (thanks Ben for not burning the place down). This desert for two was a good light choice.

All up, a great evening even if a tad more expensive than our usual meals and an enjoyable experience.
