the table-side attention is grand, consider a ceasar salad, atmosphere is true to its dark and seductive supper-club heritage, but food could be ratcheted up a notch given it's local competitors.

We arrived a lil' late at the hotel upstairs and at the suggestion of the valet we tried El Gaucho. The half price happy hour bar menu was amazing. I loved the steak Diablo as well as the clams and the grapefruit martini - simply YUM!

Very expensive but the food and service is fantastic. My wife wishes they would stop escorting women to the restroom, it draws too much attention to where they're going.

We took our 9 yr old girl and 7 yr old boy along with my wife out for a nice dinner, I know what your saying...to this place kids?.. We have taken our kids (3) out to very nice places and also not so nice places to let them see what else is "out" there. All of the people that served us remarked how well behaved and nice our kids were(happy parents!) the table side Cesar was great even though the kids could not believe what was in this salad they have ate a thousand times... The splitting of a $68 steak in the kitchen and serving on 2 plates was there suggestion and done great...rite down to our waiter, batender and head chief making sure that our daughter who has fructose allergy had the best choices and a special fruity drink to match our sons pirate cocktail (Shirley Temple). In this day I don't mind paying for quality and service and were received our fair trade. Our waiter even hailed our cab, truly a thing of the past. We will be back to Seattle and we will bring all three for the experence. You only live once.

We went here for a friends birthday, would never go to somewhere this expensive otherwise. The service was good and so was the food as you'd expect from a place like this, but it wasn't really our thing under normal circumstances.
