Tues 6/11/13, 6pm: Krittika Noodles and Thai/Seattle, Wa: We can’t see why its current Yelp’s rating has 4 stars. We’ve tried 3 dishes and all came out extra sweet. Fresh ingredients but too sweet. Our young daughter loved the sweet sauce, but of course. If we had known, we would ask for less sugar. Excellent brown rice but do skip the mushy jasmine and hard sticky rice, and not cheap. The meal tanked our pocket $45+ for 3 dishes (Pad See Aew, Salmon Yum Ma Maoung, Vegetables Delight). These may be the reason why the place is mostly empty during dinner hour. We’ve tried it with a gift certificate and not come back. 2 stars.

Whenever I'm in Seattle I try to have lunch at Krittika in the Greenlake area. It's not a fancy place, but the staff is warm and friendly, and the food is fantastic. The Orange Beef is the best I've had any where in the US! The sauce is not overly sweet and the beef is served with broccoli, carrots, and onions.

Obviously a neighborhood favorite, with an extensive menu of Thai cuisine this restaurant offer many choices for a simple evening meal. Our meal started with Tod Mun (deep fried fish cakes) which could have been a little crispier, but had great flavor. We tried Krittika’s Noodles, Kaow Moo Dang and Golden Tofu. Each was well prepared and tasty, with the Golden Tofu amazingly crisp and light! One appetizer, three entrees, a glass of wine and two beverages = $54 + tip.

We used to live in Green Lake neighborhood and discovered this restaurant when it first opened. Even though we moved we still come back because of it's great food and atmosphere. It's lovely inside, although small, & cozy. The menu isn't huge, but the quality of the food is great. The booths encourage privacy, and it's a great date place since the lighting and atmosphere is so nice. Everything they offer is well done and tasty. Parking is a little tough since it's so congested in that neighborhood, but park around the corner and stroll there admiring the neighborhood gardens. We love it best during weekday nights when it's less crowded.
