Can’t comment on the food….we were never served. We waited over a half hour and no one even took our drink order. Customers came in well after us and were eating when we finally walked out. Our repeated attempts to get our server, any server went unanswered. And the place was not even busy (we were there at 5:30 because we had two toddlers). Save yourself the headache and go to Romio’s (a mile north of the Phinney Ridge location).

We adore Zeeks 'Hump Day Bonanza'. For example, the 'Kitchen Sink' is a $28 pizza with just about everything, but on Wednesdays is only $16 after 4PM. But we often build our own (we love their sausage and salami), although we'd welcome the option of fontina cheese, and wish they carried Mama Lil's Peppers! Anyway, the crust on the perimeter of the pizza is to die for: deliciously chewy and dense. But in the middle, it's often doughy, or just plain soggy. The other problem we've had, on multiple occasions, are the fresh tomatoes. I never want to see a stem-end slice looking up at me on my pizza (sometimes, we get both the top and bottom end slices - blech). I worked at a pizza franchise in college, and neither were served on ANY pizza, ever.

Other than the inconsistently baked pizza and the tomato uglies, we really like Zeeks. Their delivery is fast ( which is probably related to the raw dough, unfortunately) and the staff who take the orders and deliver the pizza do a great job. If they just add a few items to their menu, ask the prep cooks to be careful with the tomato slices they keep, and make sure the skins are properly baked before their pizzas head out the door, they'd be unbeatable.
