I lived across the street from Farestart for a few years and fancied this place often. Not only do I love the food, which mind you is very affordable, but mainly for it basic purpose. Farestart if a not-for-profit organization that works with the local homeless population regarding chef training, life skills and even helps with job placement after each person graduates. They do a "Chef Night" once a week and that is the only time they are open for dinner. Nice atmosphere and outstanding staff. Go support a great, local, non-profit!
