We ate dinner here on a recent trip to Seattle. It's a nice setting. The service was slow and not great. Drinks were very average. The pasta dishes were quite good but the ceasar salad was only OK. Prices were higher than the overall quality of food.

My sisters and I visit this restaurant whenever we're in Seattle. This is usually off-season, so it isn't too crowded and reservations aren't necessary. Our dinner two nights ago was no exception. The service was friendly and very quick. The caesar salad had lots of chopped anchovies (which I loathe, so I simply removed them), and the flavour was too strong for one of my sisters. When the waiter noticed she wasn't eating, he came over and immediately removed the salad. He was back within minutes with the replacement, with extra cheese instead of anchovies. Our entrees were delicious. My smoked salmon fettucini could have been a trifle hotter, but the flavour was superb, and there was an enormous amount of smoked salmon on it. One sister had a roast chicken dish which she cleaned to the bone, it was so delicious and tender, and the other had a simple pasta dish with fresh tomatoes and angel hair pasta----a dish she loves every time she orders it. Both came piping hot. Alas, we had no room for dessert----I'm not sure how you could have, with the generous size of the portions (and the fresh, warm foccacia with olive oil and sweet vinegar!). I've never been able to finish a meal. We'll go back there when we return to Seattle in the autumn.

One of the better Itailian places in Seattle. My entree was pretty great. The desseret was to die for. Crema al Doppio Gusto-is must have if you visit this location!!

Looking for a place to eat near our hotel, we used Trip Advisor to find this place. My wife and I split a calzone. It was very well prepared and delicious. My only complaint, they add a scoop of marinara sauce on top in the kitchen. The sauce was a little watery and would best be served ON THE SIDE so you can apply what you want without making the delicious calzone soggy. Otherwise, this is a nice place, good atmosphere and good service. I'd eat here again.

Was not impressed with the menu or service. Was expecting a nicer "special occasion" menu. We ate early (5:30) and the place was busy. Our server didn't clear our dirty dishes promptly nor ask if we wanted additional drinks. Food was just ok. Not a very festive place to spend a holiday.
