“Great bites at Happy Hour”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

We were staying at the Fairmont and we were too tired to explore the city so we stayed in our hotel confinements and took part in the onsite's restaurant Shucker's early 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Happy hour special.

The regular menu was a bit pricey but we ordered mainly off the Happy Hour specials. My husband and I shared succulent oysters (3 different types one was fish point), their famous lobster mac and cheese, chili spiced popcorn shrimp, and sausage arancini to compliment our pino grigio and local craft beer. The food was great.

My favorite was definitely the oysters and the lobster mac and cheese with its rich cheesy sauce and lumps of actual lobster. The waiter threw in a complimentary bread basket that offered a wonderful variety of warm toasted breads.

Our waiter/bartender, an older gentleman was extremely friendly and shared conversations with us.

“Yummy oysters for lunch”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

We search out oysters in cities and as we walked by Shuckers we knew we had to go in for what turned out to be a lovely lunch. We were seated right away and once there enjoyed the service and pace of the meal. We tried the French rose ( delicious) and a beer on tap - and had fried oysters that were lightly battered and served with a good cole slaw. My partner had one of the lunch specials and he loved the seafood salad and chowder selection. We would definitely come back. Atmosphere lovely too.

“Best seafood dinner in Seattle”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

Had a dinner in this pub like restaurant and it turned out in being our best seafood dinner we had in Seattle. We were greeted by a courtesous waiter, immediately seated and promplty served. The seafood was super fresh and very well prepared.
Also, the prices were absolutely correct for the quality offered (this restaurant is inside the Fairmont Olympic Hotel).
You can't go wrong with this restautant if you love seafood.

“A Seattle classic”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

A classic and you pay for it. To me no trip to Seattle is complete without a trip to the bar at Shuckers. The quintessential oyster bar with great service and food.
