Description: Enjoy delicious seafood in Seattle and our own Rooftop Honey Ale on tap at Shuckers. Boasting the beautifully carved oak paneling and unique tin ceiling of the haberdashery it once was in the 1930's, Shuckers Oyster Bar in Seattle is one of Seattle's oldest and most pre-eminent oyster bars. With a daily menu featuring a selection of fresh fish and seafood, Shuckers brims with several varietals and featuring local artisan microbrews.

“OK for a quick casual dinner”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

The decor was pleasant, although the restaurant was a little noisy. Meals were OK, but it is certainly very casual and not a fine dining experience

“A Seattle Classic!”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

As a native of Seattle I have fond memories of the Olympic Hotel (now the Fairmont Olympic) from childhood on and visiting the building, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is always special. Shucker's is my favorite area of the hotel with beautiful original woodwork, bar, and windows. But the food and service is why we keep coming back. Most of the staff have been there for years and even when the place is slammed they provide great service. Seattle has many great seafood restaurants and you may ask "Why eat in a hotel?" Well, I place Shucker's right up there with the best of them! Their daily "fish board" usually has 5 or 6 offerings while the complete menu has numerous more including a number of beef offerings. On our last visit our table of three had the following entrees: a seafood paella, scallops, & the mixed seafood grille. All were great but the paella had an amazing variety of seafood including Dungeness crab. Yes, it is on the expensive side but "you get what you pay for" when it comes to seafood!
