“beautiful view and very friendly service”

Two levels. Lower more casual and less pricey. Excellent specialty drinks. I had half dozen fresh oysters.and they were great. Nice loction on waterfront with valet parking.

“Save your money”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

The fish was good, not great. Son Willie's pork chop was better, with great garlic mash. But for the thrifty traveler, this resto is the best around. Try this, especially if you're not super hungry,

Sit in the bar, at one of the cocktail tables. order the Wedge salad and a glass of house Chardonnay. They will bring a huge corner of crisp iceberg lettuce, soaked in creamy gorgonzola dressing and heaping of bay shrimp. A crisp slice of bacon lies beside. A basket of rolls, including snappy salted flatbread and butter triangles, arrives. Wine is a very generous pour, maybe six ounces. You leave sated and smiling. Tab: $12.50, plus tax and tip. Beat that!

“OK at best”

Dining room/bar have impressive views right on the water, but limited menu and very disappointing wine selections (even by the bottle) for an upscale restaurant.

“Great clam chowder! Beautiful scenery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

Came with 2 hungry teenage boys and had the tempura & chips, Alaska cod & chips and Salmon tacos as well as the clam chowder in cut out sourdough bread! Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were generous and great value! Sitting outside on a beautiful day makes the meal even more enjoyable! Great tartar sauce too!

“Great Location, beautiful view”

Bell Street Diner has very nice view, food is good, not great, but also not expensive, esp. for Seattle. I would go back for a moderately priced meal.
