Description: One of Seattle’s proudest traditions is the Pike Place Market, right next door. The market thrives by providing the highest quality seasonal products indigenous to the Pacific Northwest. This allows Cutters--totally remodeled in April 2012--to be directly influenced by the unique nature of the market. Because of Cutters' ongoing commitment to incorporate only the finest seasonal Northwest ingredients in all menu offerings, we can truly say: “If it’s there, it’s here."

You can't beat the location and view as you are right next to Pike's Place Market. Food is very good and prices are a bit on the high side but then again you are paying for the location and view. When we were there we had a large group and it was a busy night. Our only snag was getting seated as the table was ready and they still made us wait to be seated for 20 minutes -- It was early in the night and I think the staff was still getting organized.

I had one of the supper specials (a seafood soup broth based), it was good and there was no skimping on the seafood (mussels, clams, fish). The food was taking a very long time, but we were in no rush. Due to the wait, as the manager explained was due to being down one cook, the entire meal for the table was comped, save the alcoholic drinks. The wait was around 30 min between ordering and the food arriving.

The prices are not unreasonable for metro waterfront seafood dining.

Outside the restaurant, to its side facing the park, there was a group of people smoking and drinking out of paper bags *hinthint*
The food that we ordered was very good, the only one I remember was the burger and fries that I ordered :) It was juicy and filling while the fries were perfect.

We were able to get a table on X-mas Day for a late lunch without a reservation after waiting less than 5 minutes. We even got a window booth. Service was fast and friendly. Staff was hustling but seemed to be in a cheerful holiday mood. We ordered the crab cake appetizer and fish and chips. The crab cake was rich with large chunks of crab-I couldn't even finish it. And it sat on a large bed of delicious succotash. I did not taste the fish and chips but my husband devoured the plate almost before I could take a photo. Other main courses on the special holiday menu did seem a bit pricey to us. Overall, decent value for the $,and a great place to go on a holiday. I am glad they were open.

This was our first stop in seattle. We arrived for lunch craving fresh seafood after perusing the market a few blocks south. The crab was amazing, sweet and briny, so delicious. The fish tacos were good, grilled fish with a tangy cabbage slaw. The view is amazing, the sound is stunning on a rare clear day, which we were lucky to have. Service is friendly and attentive, and the room is comfy and stylish. Enjoy
