Description: When stepping out of Etta’s front door to take in the grand parade cascading through the Pike Place Market, often, on a sunny day, the enormous vista of Mount Rainier looms in the distance. From this vantage point, people are loaded with market flowers, local farm goods and a growler of our local breweries best. Etta’s Big Mountain BBQ is a soul satisfying pit stop on any market journey. Cold draft beers, smoked meats, and warm hospitality all renew the market spirit enjoyed by so many, for so long. TD&Co. have been serving customers from all over the world out of these doors since 1984. Thank you for visiting the market, keeping one of the world’s great destinations active, alive and purposeful. As always, thank you for the support.

Our friends from Indiana were sweltering. So we went looking for air conditioning.
Never had been to ETTA'S. Oh, we were so pleased.
The chowder, farm grown vegetables cooked to fabulous perfection, flaky fish and chips, freshly prepared salads.
Great atmosphere, exquisite blend of flavors, wonderful service and so glad we came.

My husband & I went for the crabby hour. We shared the full dungeness crab. We saved $10 by going to happy hour. The crab was very good.

We set at the bar and had a wonderful dinner. Morgan, the bartender, was a delight. Started w the roasted beets.... anchovy vinaigrette, chèvre and spicy rice chips. It's was delicious. Then we had the cod fish and chips and Etta's "Rub with Love" Salmon (grilled coho salmon , sautéed green beans, cornbread pudding and shittake relish. The best prepared salmon on this trip by far. We will return before we leave town.

We had brunch here and the food was great! The staff was friendly and it was really close to Pike Place and the pier. Most of the restaurants in Pikes Place was packed or there was a long wait time, Ettas sat us right away and the food was amazing.
