“Great Place for a Private Business Party”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

The front end of Elliott's Oyster House...the edge of the building closest to Alaskan Way ... makes the perfect venue for your private downtown/waterfront party. You get yourown restaurant and bar, basically, and as you might expect, the oysters are out-of-this-world fresh and good. So was everything else, I'm sure, but I remember the oysters the most.

“Your Heart Will Melt For Joy”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Elliott Bay Oyster House is a dining experience that is so uniquely Seattle, it's the one place I always recommend. The oysters are fresh as fresh, always, and their spicy vinaigrette is a super-good way to add a bit of variety to your half-shell oysters, plus it's a good way to introduce a not-yet-loving-oysters person to the joys of oysters on the half shell.

The rest of the menu is replete with items to satisfy the most discriminating restauranteur. Always fresh, always big portions, always served with delight by a wait-person who knows just when to arrive and when to stay away.

Expensive but not back-breakingly so. A couple could fairly easily keep a meal including appetizers, entree, drinks, and dessert, to less than $200. For the view, the atmosphere, and the quality and variety of food, Elliott's is a bargain.

“they have anOyster happy hour”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

The way it works is for the 1st hour they charge $.50 / oyster then it goes up $./50 per hour when you get there you will see perole with trays of 2 doz oysters piled on every table. You see that is the max you can order at one time. There is really nothing else to say

“For a tourist place, surprisingly good food”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I didn't expect the food to be as good as it was, since it's a major tourist destination on the waterfront. We had a party of about 6 and everyone enjoyed their food. Service was a little slow, but you can't beat the setting.
