I've been coming here for years and now my kids get the same urge! When we are near downtown, they much prefer a croissant or meringue over a donut or ice cream. Le Panier consistently serves up delicious French pastry and bread and the coffee is fantastic too!

Expect a line but when it's your turn to order, you'll never feel rushed. The staff is friendly, helpful and ready to serve - and maybe speak some French, too.

My favorite time is in the morning as the market wakes up. Summer and Christmas time are busy but so worth it!!!

The baguettes are perfect. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and smelling of heaven. I've been buying them for over 30 years.

My husband and I went here on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Since this is in Pike Place Market are it is very busy. It is worth the wait for 10 minutes. I indulge in the chocolatine which is a combination of a pan au chocolate with almond paste. Even if they don't have any in the case, ask for it since it might be coming hot off the rack!

Great cafe, usually crowded. Delicious pastries, quiche, baguette, you name it! I have ordered multiple tartes from there as well as bday cakes. Love it.

Took out of town guests to Pike Place Market, a happening place. Decided to treat them to coffee and almond croissants. Long lines. Worth the wait. Sooo delicious. Our guests were so impressed, couldnt stop talking about it all the drive home.
