“Always a great bet!”
Reviewed January 14, 2012

Ten Mercer does not disappoint. For pre- or post-theatre dinner or drinks, you cannot find a better location near Seattle Center. The seasonal menu is always delightful, and full of wonderful surprises. The talented chef comes up with frequently inventive, and always interesting dishes. The service is excellent, professional and polished. The decor is simple and understated, but well done. The place has a great feel, and you will feel warmly welcomed. If you cannot get a table, eating at the bar works just fine, and you'll probably end up with new friends in the bargain.

“fabulous mussels”
Reviewed January 8, 2012

It had been too long since I'd eaten at Ten Mercer. Four of us had a pre-theatre supper on Friday. The mussels are some f the best I've ever tasted, in a curried sauce/soup with shaved carrots. the only suggestion would be to serve SPOONS with this dish, as too much of the sauce went back to the kitceh. Our steak salads were hearty and fresh with 4 or 5 large slices of med. rare beef- just as we requested. Drinks and wine are not cheap (7 to 12$), but all good. Our bill was "only" 43$ before drinks and the quality of the fod was very good.

“Wine, food, ambiance, service”
Reviewed December 9, 2011

By accident on a Saturday night we got there after the crowd cleared out to go to the Theater across the street. The place is so neat inside. The wine selection (by the glass) is expansive, food was superb. Staff was great. When we're back in Seattle, we're headed to Ten Mercer! Such an enjoyable dining experience

“An almost experience”
Reviewed October 7, 2011

We had a very pleasant evening here. Pleasing ambience, quiet on a weeknight, thoughtful and attentive service from great staff. Very good food overall at reasonable prices. The cheese plate had a lovely presentation, incredible cheese in small portions, wonderful bread. The wild greens were tasty but overdressed. The NY steak was generous, incredibly tender, perfectly done inside, but charred on the outside. The pork tenderloin and spatzle were spot on. The bench seating was designed for its looks but not its comfort. I'd go back, but wish a few things were polished up- then I'd become a regular.
