On a morning walking visit to the Pioneer Square area and wanting coffee, we found this cool place. Their cappucino and latte are the BEST I have had in the USA. I also had a delicious breakfast sandwich. After checking out other food and drink establishments, we returned again and again. Another visit I ordered the grilled Chicken/Pesto sandwich - awesomely delicious, very fresh, and expertly prepared. This is hands down the BEST place for coffee, sandwiches and ambiance anywhere in the Seattle downtown area (Bedlam Coffee in Belltown is a very close 2nd). The service is very friendly and I like how they re-habbed the old building for a comfortable atmosphere. On our 3rd visit on a Saturday afternoon - just before we were going to board Amtrak at Kings St. Station - a wedding party of about 10 people entered with their photographer in tow. They were very obnoxious with their rudeness and lack of respect toward customers sitting at tables. Their photographer hovered over our table and others, taking pictures of the wedding party's every move; adding sugar to their coffee, standing in line, chatting loudly in a circle, doing goofy poses. They acted like this was their personal domain set up for their wedding day antics. This was the only instance of a less than pleasant experience and not the fault of the staff. I could tell the staff was also a little disgusted by their disregard and stupid actions. This is a great place despite some people thinking it is like a carnival attraction.
