From the moment we got on the very nice minibus and started sipping our welcome cocktails to the end of the tour when we opened our parting gift, my sister and I had a blast!! We found the distilleries fascinating and our tour guide/owner even drove us by the Fremont Troll (thank you, Craig!). This tour is a must-do for anyone interested in the Prohibition Era and craft distilleries.

This is an excellent tour of three different distilleries. You are going to be driven around in a very clean, comfortable 10 person mercedes van/bus location to location. On your seat you will receive delicious DELICIOUS mixed drinks, excellent snacks (local popcorn, sausage, cupcakes) and a wonderful gift at the end of the tour. Each distillery is unique in respect to their origination of how they became a distillery; the stories from the owners are amazing. You get generous tastings of vodka, gin, and whiskey as well as a couple other liqueurs. Very personable people, witty, knowledgeable and humorous! The tour guide also was wonderful, extremely nice and accomodating. This company takes care of you well. I recommend this to anyone over 21. :-)

Loved this tour! We had a group of ten friends and family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We met at Downtown Spirits, and parked for free. Then, we piled into our Mercedes van to try out a craft cocktail in a mason jar, along with some Cormac Mahoney popcorn. Then we were off the our first stop, Sound Spirits. We met the distiller, and tasted a wide variety of items; vodka and gin, aquavit, a Theo's chocolate liquor and more! Then we got back into the van and munched on gourmet sausage and kraut while driving to Mischief in Fremont. This is the most picturesque stop on the tour, but highly concentrated with whiskeys. Still, quite interesting and beautiful. We also got a little souvenir from the distiller. After getting back into the van one more time, we headed back down south to SoDo and Letterpress. While en route, we had another craft cocktail of a refreshing cocoa variety, which was paired with a d'lish Yellow Leaf cupcake that tasted like a bite of breakfast. Not only do they make wonderful vodka, but they add in organic lemons and local honey to create the most incredible Limoncello ever! It's a must buy!
Returning to the van for the trip back to the car, we found a gift bag of treats to take home. Everyone had a wonderful time and our host was first rate. Highly recommend.

We booked the Distillery Tour for a birthday party this past weekend and couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. I definitely agree with another reviewer who said that this is the adult alternative to “Ride the Ducks”.

There were 10 people in our group so we filled the entire Mercedes Sprinter van, it was cozy but comfortable. Upon boarding we were greeted with a refreshing Raspberry Moscow Mule and Togarashi Popcorn. Our first stop was Sound Spirits where we sampled Vodka, Gin, Aquavit and a handful of delicious liqueurs. The guys who run this place are magicians! Boozy magicians! I haven’t been able to go near gin since an unfortunate incident in college but this place fixed that problem. Everything we tasted was delicious! Back in the van was a delicious brat and some sauerkraut to snack on in route to our second destination, Freemont Mischief. Mischief is an adorable little distillery with smooth, buttery sweet Whiskey’s and they gifted us with little pins and shot glass holders as gifts. For the next leg of our tour we were given Whiskey Iced Coffee and a Yellow Leaf Bacon Maple cupcake. I can’t think of any better pairing! Yum! Our final stop was Letterpress Distilling where we sampled Vodka and the best Limonchello outside of Naples. Our driver kindly dropped us off at Serious Pie (totally recommend this) for dinner and left us with a gift bag - Cock n’Bull Ginger Beer, Mischief Vodka and a Lime.

I’ve done a lot of ‘tasting’ tours and this was by far the best. I can’t wait to have an out-of-town visitor so I can do it again! If you are a foody, a lush like me, or a tourist looking for a uniquely Seattle experience I cannot recommend the Local Craft Distillery Tour enough!

My husband and I enjoyed this tour during our recent visit to Seattle. We have been on many food/drink tours and this was one of the very best. Our guide was very nice and new her way around the city. We traveled between distilleries in a new Mercedes van and it was nice to not have to think about transportation. We were greeted with a drink and a snack on the way to our first stop and were given more delicious local treats between stops. It was interesting to visit the local distilleries and be able to support small businesses. We cannot sing the praises of this tour enough and hope you get to experience its greatness on your next trip to Seattle as well!
