“Beer and wine only.”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Very good Cantonese food. We have dined here many times and never been disappointed. You need to be driving south to access the parking lot but u-turns are nearby. Large parking lot in back. Nice people.

“Enjoyed our first visit”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

After a change in ownership at the previous Chinese Restaurant we attended, we chose Yu Shan, despite some mixed reviews. We are not super Chinese food buffs but know what tastes good. We selected Family Dinner "A" and were very pleased with each of the selections. The Beef with Vegetables and Pork Garlic Sauce were exceptionally tasty. The outside of the restaurant is less than exceptional but the inside is very pleasing and well done. The wait staff were fast, pleasant and worked very hard. It was Chinese New Year and the restaurant was filled to capacity with Asian customers. We wlll be going again.

“We will go back!”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

Since moving back to Seattle after a stint in the Midwest, we have been looking for a good Northern Chinese restaurant not far from home (i.e., in the north end). From the outside, this restaurant looks very ordinary, but once inside, the decor is impressive and nice enough to bring out-of-town guests. There is also a good size parking lot in the back. We ordered:
S6. Prawn in Special Sauce
B12. Lamb with Onion
P2. Pork in Garlic Sauce

All three dishes arrived promptly, nice presentation, and generous portion size. The Pork in Garlic Sauce was our favorite--very tasty, but the other two dishes were very good as well. We will go back to try more dishes!

The restaurant is directly across the street from DejaVu, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the food!!

“Some of the best chinese I have ever had”
Reviewed October 1, 2008

I have to say when we got to our hotel across the street, we were pretty disheartened. Terrible. And we were so tired that we just could not make it back downtown, so we reluctantly headed across the street to Fushen. Then we tasted to food.

The food at this establishment is far above average, they use excellent cuts of meat, the seasonings and sauces are amazing, and overall the food is some of the best I have ever had. It was so good that even though we had a list of 4-6 recommended places in Seatlle to eat at, we ate at Fushen twice in 3 days.

The proprietor even carefully boxed up our leftover the 2nd visit because we were stuffed, yet couldn't leave them there.I had to take them home to Los Angeles.

Please make the trek up to Fushen on upper Aurora. Have the black pepper beef dish listed under specials, and ENJOY.

Thank smowen
