Paris Eastside Culinary has an excellent class to learn hands-on techniques on how to make french macarons, eclairs, etc.... Muriel, the teacher/owner of the culinary school is such a nice person. She is patient and really teaches well. I highly recommend the classes at Paris Eastside Culinary.

Experienced and youthful energetic cooks combined with Paris Eastside for a truly delightful evening. Thank you Muriel for the tips and delicious appetizers. Tasting French burgundy and rose was the perfect pairing Denis!

WOW, what an awesome, hands on macaron making class! Muriel was very knowledgeable and fun to work with. She explained and demonstrated each step of the process clearly, and definitely gave me the confidence to want to make macarons at home. Plus Paris Eastside itself as a store is incredible: tons of cooking gear and unique wines and ingredients. Definitely will be coming back to take more classes, AND to shop :)

My wife and I decided to treat my mother to a Macaron class here as a 70th birthday gift. It was a great experience. Parisian Macarons are tricky to make but Muriel had lots of practical advice and all of us made tasty Macaron. I dare say they were better than those available at any of the professional bakeries in town. We will definitely make another batch on our own soon.

Muriel the instructor was great. She was very patient and gave just the right amount of help but let the students get the feel of everything. She is full of stories, enthusiasm, and information on all things French. It was a fun social time.

Apart from the classes, this little shop is a good source for French ingredients and treats that are hard to find anywhere else. There are also kitchen items and fun linens and decorations. Muriel selects just a few of her favorite wines to sell. Based on the one we tasted during the class I am confident to trust her choices.
