The Innkeeper is a consistently awesome & unassuming gem in Belltown. Amazing food, drinks & ambiance. In the summertime go to the back patio for a relaxed happy hour in the middle of the city. Try the rum punch, Innkeeper fries, and the burger - seriously a burger worth trying. So good!!! Go to there.

My daughter who lives in Seattle and is very much in tune with the foodie scene in a city almost overloaded with good places to eat suggested we eat here one evening while we visited the Puget Sound area for the Thanksgiving holiday. It is a local favorite and for good reason. Located in the trendy "Belltown" area just north of downtown, it doesn't look like much from the outside. But like so many of the best places there in the Emerald City the name and the rather ho hum sign belie what you will find inside. The place buzzes with a warmth and exuberance amid very spartan furnishings. The full name is "The Innkeeper of Don Quixote" which better describes what you will find. The fare lends itself to tapas style tasting and sharing. Items we enjoyed included the padron peppers flash fried, the house smoked chicken drumettes, the black tiger shrimp with saucy smoked paprika, the pulled pork tacos and the Brazilian slow roasted chicken thigh bowl for example. Everything is inventive and very tasty, The service is excellent. It is now on my A list for Seattle as well.
