“Visited after a Vampire & Ghost Tour in Pioneer Square”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

You must stop by for a caramel apple! If you buy a certain amount ($15 worth?), they give you a free caramel covered apple, a punch card, and token to use next time for a special discount. I enjoyed the Reese's and caramel covered apple - Yum!! Quite a selection with chocolate, nut, marshmallow toppings. They will graciously slice the apple for you so you can nosh on the go. It's of course cheaper to make at home but why not indulge since you're there. What a great topper to the evening after the 70+ minute walking tour in Pioneer Square. There is also a Starbucks either next door or across the way (can't remember - caramel on the mind) in case you need a coffee pick-me-up.

Oh yeah! Try the seafoam - I love that stuff. I don't know what it is but I love it. Be sure your chompers are in good order before you bite into it. :) Also, you will find it easy to spend over $20 in this shop...Be sure to take pics with the oversized pair of bears on the bench. Be a cheesy tourist even if you live in the area. :)

“Beautiful and delicious sweet creations!”
Reviewed October 25, 2012 via mobile

Rocky mountain chocolate factory reached out and grabbed my attention as I walking down the street with a very large and absolutely beautiful window display of gorgeous and tempting candy apples. They have about a dozen varieties and each one looks absolutely delicious. I had the butterfinger and peanut butter chocolate flavored one which was delicious. Some others were cinnamon candy apple, reces pieces, rocky road, apple pie, English toffee, triple chocolate, and others. On top of all this, the place is a large and full service candy shop with just about any sort of tasty treat you can think of.

The only real downside is the price. They charge nearly $9 for one of their candy apples which seems super steep. Granted it was delicious but the price still seems super high. Great for tourists and special occasions...not so certain about regulars or locals paying those kinds of prices.

“Simple Delicious”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

On our way to Pikes Place Market we saw these apples glaring at us from the window. We stopped and our mouths watered just looking at them. So on our way back in we went and what a treat this place was. The candy apples are huge, and more imaginative an you can imagine, they even had tastings of these while we were there - YUMM such a hard decision! The fudge and other treats, even though expensive are simply divine and I am not a chocolate lover. They make it right there on the spot and worth the cost. A little goes a long way, but definitely a place you have to stop.

“Chocolate lovers paradise”

Just the aroma will get 'cha. Nice place to pop in after shopping at the market. Satisfy your sweet tooth with these handmade chocolates and confections. Slabs, wrapped and dipped caramel apples to name just a few.
