On a very brief trip to Seattle, USA, I was told to try WORLD PIZZA just down the road from where I was staying.
Do not be put off by the address being in Chinatown. The restaurant is less than 100m from the main King Street, Station.
The aroma of freshly baked pizza engulfed me as I entered the small restaurant, where I was briefly mistaken for the owner's mother, which caused much hilarity.
I ordered two large slices of pizza with several toppings, including sweet potato, goat's cheese, rosemary and much more.
I also ordered a cappuccino, which was strong and delicious.
The pizza was absolutely divine. The pastry was a gourmet's delight, and apparently a specialty of the owner brothers, who take great pride in their work.
Even though I am only briefly in Seattle, I shall return for more pizza.
I would heartily recommend you try it too.
