This is a new attraction in Seattle. We got there around noon and had no waiting time. It was just the two of us and we got our own personal booth / cart. The views are spectacular but make sure that you or the person you are with is not afraid of heights.

The point of attractions is the experience and the Great Wheel is certainly that. The views are great and you get a sense of being suspended over the water. The downside is that the ride is really short and pretty spendy. If money is no object, then go ahead and fly through the sky. But if there are 10 other attractions you want to see on a limited budget, I'd go to the aquarium or Space Needle instead.

we got our own car and it was clean and comfy with really nice views of the bay, the city and waterfront. staff were friendly. dont think you need to pay $50 each for VIP and if you are a fraid of heights - you may want to skip this one.

We went to eat at the seafood restaurant right at the entrance of the great wheel. They had one of the best kids menus I've seen, with lots of real food options. Our daughter had baked salmon and rice and our son had popcorn shrimp and fries.

Beautiful meal watching the sunset, followed by a ride on the wheel taking photos.

3 times around, but the wheel is very big so it's enough. The little booths are solid, clean and feel safe although you go so high in the air, so it's still exciting.

After that we all took photos of the wheel which was cool because it's lit up with different colors. A nice evening!

Buy tic online and save a line. First you line up for the photo opportunity, then to get onto the wheel. As a couple we had to share our car with a group of three. Great views of ferry, space needle and stadiums. Goes at slow pace, so not a thrill ride. Fear of heights would be a problem because it feels like you will drop right into the sound.
