“Unbeatable views--ride a little short.”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

Go early and avoid the line. Go on a sunny day and you can see forever. Great to be on the pier near the aquarium. Parking nearby is iffy and expensive. Wish it could have gone around about 3 more times. Felt a teeny tiny bit cheated at the end. But still glad we did it. Kids LOVED it.

“What a fun way to see the Sound!”
Reviewed April 3, 2013 via mobile

Climb into temperature controlled seating as you rise above the city on the second largest ferris Wheel in the World! Wow! What a view! The assistants are wonderful and have a great attitude. We sang songs from the 50's with one of the help while we were waiting to get on board! Great time and the line moved fast.

“Fantastic Views of Puget Sound”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We enjoyed our ride on the Great Wheel! The gondolas were heated and comfy. We were paired with another couple, which was fine. It's how they keep the lines from being too long. If you don't like hanging over the water, be warned you will be out over the water half of the time. On a clear day the views are amazing and worth every penny. I think I liked this better than the Space Needle. (too many people crowding into you at the Needle) It's a nice, quiet way to enjoy the city & puget sound views. Then walk down to Ivars for some fish & chips!

“Was not impressed”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

As someone who has lived in Seattle, loves Seattle and loves ferris wheels, I was expecting a whole lot more out of Seattle's Great Wheel. We waited in line for 30 minutes in the rain and wind, got in the capsule, where it was stuffy and hot. The ferris wheel rotates very slow, by the second rotation you have seen it all and you're ready to get off. You get average views of the city, mostly views of Puget Sound. In one spot, you can see the Space Needle, an iconic Seattle symbol. Honestly, it wasn't worth the money, we did it once and probably won't do it again.

“Wicked View!!”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

We hit the Great Wheel on a sunny day in March and it was incredible. The glass gondolas offer amazing 360 degree views - with heat and air conditioning!! The view from the end of a pier makes you feel like you are suspended over Puget Sound looking back at the city - very memorable. Our party of four had a private gondola for a very memorable and special experience. All agreed - wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Seattle.
